语通翻译组织中外专家制定说明书翻译标准

中国已经是一个制造业大国， 但仍然是一个品牌小国。其中一个原因是对细节的粗放，从很多用中式外语写成的产品说明书即可看出一些端倪。
语通翻译作为国内领先的技术翻译专业公司， 近年来， 为超过8000家各类企业提供了大量技术文档的翻译， 涉及33个语言。同时也注意到， 不少企业或者为了节约翻译费用， 或者找不到合格的翻译服务商， 只能在精美的产品旁边放上一本错误百出的中国式外语说明书，进而大大影响了产品的形象， 也导致其产品售价下降。
因而， 语通翻译决定从企业最常见的技术文档-产品说明书着手， 携手上海外国语大学， 已经组织成立了一个中外专家组，开始制定说明书翻译标准，计划从流行词汇， 术语， 表达方式，语法，格式等多个方面对其予以标准化。作为国内首次在细分领域由企业牵头进行的尝试， 尚难预测其成果， 但预期将在一年内完成。
