美国劳工部:外语翻译人才缺口大待遇优厚

【环球网综合报道】在全球化的今天，一门或几门外语的掌握在职业竞争中显得日益重要。根据美国劳工部资料，笔译及口译工作名列美国未来10年增长最快速的15种职业之一，美国官方及民间机构目前亟缺外语人才。

据CNNMoney网站10月31日报道，美国劳工部预估2010至2020年间，职务空缺增长最多的是个人看护，增幅逾七成，但口译及笔译职务空缺也将增长42%，或2.5万个，这还不包括军方数字。全美翻译年薪的中位数为4.3万美元。

美国人力资源网站Indeed.com在过去一周，共刊登1.2万个内含“双语”字眼的职务空缺讯息。其中，亚马逊正在为位于西雅图的消费者服务团队，找寻巴西葡萄牙语翻译人才。苹果则希望聘雇精通韩语、墨西哥语、西班牙语及中文的科技翻译人才。

此外，美国情报体系的翻译工作在翻译职务空缺中待遇最为优渥，年薪最高可达10万美元，若不愿意身陷枪林弹雨，只要在法律、医学、科技等领域学有专精，在政府及民间机构也有许多待遇不错的翻译工作。
