专利证书
专利证书是指专利申请经审查合格后，由专利局发给专利申请人的法律证明文件。专利证书记载了发明创造的名称、发明创造申请人姓名或名称、专利权起始日期、申请号及专利号等。最新的专利证书还包括有专利授权文本。
我国有3种专利形式，发明、实用新型、外观设计。对于实用新型专利，国家是不进行实质审查的，只要提交了申请，就给予实用新型专利权，但这种专利很多是无效的，因为别人或者别的国家早就申请过这样的专利。一旦有人提出反对的证据，那就会丧失所谓的专利权。
发明专利是要经过严格的实质审查的，国家专利局会查询所有国家的相关专利申请，只有没有一样的专利的时候，才可能授予发明专利权。
