网友追捧重庆话神翻译 戳中你的笑点 看”小面”英语怎么说?

“老实交代，你今天早餐是不是又吃的Little face？”4月12日，微博转发了网友一条带有“方言味的英文”后，立即引起极大关注，“这就是最近很火的方言英文”，“小面原来是这样翻译的，又长见识了”、“不，我吃的不是little face，是soup circle”……

重庆方言用英文讲，这让很多网友捧腹，到底咱们的方言能用英文怎么来表达呢？微博上，就有很多网友给出了自己的“神翻译”。专家表示，这类无厘头“神翻译”重在娱乐，正式场合使用不太适合。

　　“神翻译”总能戳中笑点

记者在新浪微博中搜索“重庆方言”、“英文翻译”等关键字时，出现了近千条搜索结果。这些“神翻译”五花八门，但统统绕开语法、句式等限制，全凭网友自由发挥，仅从字面或谐音上即可理解，很多翻译还能戳中笑点，让人忍俊不禁。

“You drink me！”、“My son drink！”这一组经典对白在网络上最为流行，甚至有网友专门到“百度知道”里提问，请求专业人士给予解答。答疑的热心网友称，看懂这句对话需要一点英语基础和较高的重庆话水平，意思是，“你骗我”、“我骗你才怪（一种赌咒的语气）”该网友还不忘提醒，“这是由重庆方言改造发明的英语，是不规则的，书面和正规场合不能这么用。”

除此之外，“不得行——no way”；“打望——beat look”；“雄起——cheer up”；“我还不是——so do I”等方言英语，也被很多网友追捧，网友们表示，这些英文翻译将地道的草根方言变得很有韵味，简直是国际范儿十足。

方言英文抓住了神韵

“在重庆，有一种generous叫耿直，有一种bravery叫怕啥子，有一种break up叫拉爆，有一种handsome叫登独，有一种struggle叫鼓捣弄，有一种wash-up叫洗白，有种idiot叫哈戳戳，有种good smell stick叫串串香……”

类似这种轻松诙谐的段子在网络上盛行不衰，“尽管以前多次见到过用英文翻译过的重庆方言，但每次再看到，还是会发笑”，网友“北碚北北”就谈到了自己的亲身经历。一次和学校的外国留学生朋友“维娜”一起去吃“串串”，几名中国女孩费了很大力气，解释了半天“维娜”仍是一头雾水，不知“串串”到底是什么东西。后来他们一起进了小吃店，“维娜”才知道了原来竹签上串着肉和蔬菜的小吃就是“串串”。

网友“北碚北北”说：“所以我觉得‘good smell stick’其实翻译得特别形象、生动，既简单又易于理解，对外国朋友们来说还是挺方便记住的。”

　　方言+英文最直接

“昨天和朋友逛街，一个老外过来问我们：Do you know 临江门地铁站杂个走？我沉默三秒：I don’t know在哪个方向。再转问朋友，朋友一边用手比划，一边答道：笔里笔直go，莫turn弯，first路口就左转。you can瞄到！”网友“kexin”就在其微博上讲述了这样一件令人哭笑不得的事情。

“老外问路竟然飙方言，你让我们这些土生土长的重庆娃情何以堪。”网友“广厦万间”称，不知这位外国友人听了“kexin”朋友的解释会不会“can not hold no longer”。而家在重庆却远在外地求学的网友“洛盐”则表示“瞬间泪奔了。多么亲切的家乡方言，很久没能听到了。”

　　老外：喜欢这种“无厘头英语”

曾在重庆师范大学学习过的美国学生caroline昨日下午看到记者发给她的英文版“重庆方言”时，她只简单回了记者一句话：“what’s this?”(这是啥东西？)由于有较好的汉语基础，记者和caroline的沟通并没有太大障碍。

待记者向她解释之后，她表示，表格中的一些短语还是能够理解的，比如“no way”、“hold on”、“so do I”、“what do you want”、“have no idea”、“you are welcome”等，这些英文翻译和中文意思差别不大，还是能够理解大概的意思。但caroline称，有一些短语非常奇怪，比如“ok horse”、“coult old”、“beat look”等，让人摸不着头脑。

当记者告诉caroline这些是重庆方言时，她表示对这种“无厘头英语”很感兴趣，非要记者告诉她表格中的每句话用重庆方言怎么说。她表示，如果网友能既遵照正确的语法和逻辑习惯又能把方言翻译得生动有趣，就会更加完美了。

分析

　　神翻译是智慧，但正式场合不适用

那么真正的“小面”到底该怎样翻译呢？重庆师范大学英语教师邵瑞琼在接受记者采访时表示，因为“小面”属于特有的地方风味小吃，很难有固定认可的说法，但可以从小面的口感入手，翻译成“spicy noddle”，意为“麻辣口味的面食”。邵瑞琼称，网络上的“神翻译”是网友智慧的结晶，大家通过这样的方式将周围熟知的东西翻译成英文，虽然有些无厘头，“但其中也包涵了一定的地方文化内涵”。

知名互联网评论家、速途网副总编丁道师在接受记者采访时也表示，“这些网络‘神翻译’的重点不在语法或句式上到底对不对，而是结合本土区域内特有的厚重文化底蕴产生的一种轻松幽默的英文表达方式。”丁道师称：“神翻译”属于网络娱乐文化的一种产物，只注重翻译的“形”，而忽略了“神”。就像小面被翻译为“little face”一样，被当地人所熟知的“小面”经过网友娱乐加工，翻译出来的英文从字面上看上去有些道理，但实际上风马牛不相及，在正式场合使用不太合适，不过在平时的交流中，这种语言文化差异中产生的轻松幽默感，兴许也更能够被大众所认同。
