高端翻译人才缺口大 赴联合国实习机会增多

由于全球高端翻译人才面临新老交替，目前高级翻译人才缺口很大。上海外国语大学昨天传出消息，应联合国方面需求，今后，上外高级翻译学院学生赴联合国实习的机会将增多。

目前，联合国六种工作语言分别是英语、法语、俄语、汉语、西班牙语、阿拉伯语。联合国在每种工作语言的对象国中挑选2-3所大学，并与这些大学合作签署联合国合作备忘录，目前，全球共有21所联合国合作备忘录签约高校。上海外国语大学是其中之一。

上外高级翻译学院院长柴明颎教授介绍，目前全球的高级翻译人才缺口都很大，上外高翻学院成立至今十年，报考竞争十分激烈，招录比高达1：30至1：60，十年以来，上外高翻从10名学生的规模发展成在读学生规模突破200名，从单一的会议口译专业发展形成研究型的翻译学硕士和博士、实践型的翻译硕士专业学位和顶级的会议口译专业证书齐头并进的局面。上外高级翻译学院业已为社会输送了500多名的合格的翻译人才，其中已有毕业生成为包括联合国在内的国际组织正式译员。

柴明颎教授表示，上海外国语大学每年有约

20名左右的学生去联合国实习，已有多名毕业生成为联合国的正式员工。本次会议后将扩大上外学生赴联合国实习的规模，同时联合国方面将派遣职业译员到上海对学生授课，并组织全球标准的职业化考试。

据悉，由联合国总部大会及会议管理部和上海外国语大学主办的第三届联合国合作备忘录签约高校年会近日在上海外国语大学举行，这是该高端会议首次来到中国。来自联合国总部及各分支机构、欧洲委员会、欧洲议会的官员和专业译员们，以及世界21所联合国签约高校代表们齐聚上海，共同商讨高端专业翻译人才的培养、评判与使用等一系列议题。
