翻译资格考试总通过率不到15% 日语高于平均水平

人民网北京5月21日电 （张靖）2013年上半年的全国翻译资格（水平）考试即将于本周六（5月25日）在全国各地举行。16日，中国外文局翻译专业资格考评中心主任杨英姿和翻译资格考试日语专家委员会主任委员徐耀庭做客人民网日本频道，就广大考生关注的日语翻译资格考试的有关问题进行了详细的介绍。

报名总人数超27万 通过率不到15%

访谈中杨英姿表示，翻译资格考试目前设有英、法、日、阿、俄、德、西七个语种，分别在上半年、下半年考试，其中英语一年考两次。从2003年考试实施以来，到2013年上半年，报名总人数已经超过了27万，通过考试拿到翻译资格证书的人数超过了3万。2012年的报考人数达到5万，而今年上半年有近3万人报名，预计全年报名人数将达到6万人。

从统计数据来看，七个语种的二三级口笔译的总体通过率不到15%，相比之下日语的通过率略高于整体水平。
日语翻译资格考试的通过率分别为：二级笔译超过25%，三级笔译超过30%；二级口译近15%，三级口译超过20%。

通过率不高与报名人群、考察内容有关

对于翻译资格证通过率不高的原因，徐耀庭做了分析。

首先，通过率与参加考试的考生人群有关。如果专业从事翻译工作、有翻译经验的考生人数多，通过率相对就高一些；相反，如果非专门从事对日翻译的人报名多，通过率就会偏低。

其次，通过率还与考察的重点有关。翻译资格考试不同于其他日语水平考试，它的侧重点除了基本功以外，更注重考生对原文的理解、对外国文化、历史的了解以及翻译的技巧。
