“我就说嘛”该怎么翻译为英文？

特别注意，“我就说嘛。”不能翻译为“I told you。”，因为汉语里的“我就说嘛”只表示自己说过这句话，并不表示曾把这句话告诉听话者。而且，这两句话隐含的意思也不一样：前者隐含“我聪明吧？”，基本属于自夸句，而后者隐含“你比我笨”，带有一定的挑衅意味。“我早说了”，“我就知道”同理，只有“早告诉你了”可以这么翻译。
