英媒报道：盘点机场那些雷人翻译

英国《每日邮报》20日专门盘点了一些无厘头国外机场的指示牌，上榜者往往让人觉得匪夷所思，不知所云，甚至有些让人啼笑皆非。记者发现，此次上榜的多是中国机场“中译英”闹的笑话。
“小心山体滑坡” (Landslide)，这样的警示语出现在机场不要怀疑是不是放错了，其实原意只是想说“小心地滑”。报道称，这样的笑话不是少数，餐厅有“肉汁”(flesh juice) 、小心楼梯“裤裆”、不要将吸烟室“炸成灰”都是机场英文警示牌的雷言雷语。“当外国人在机场看到这些，也许会认为自己身处的不是机场，而是一个战场吧。”报道称。
报道指出，对于很多外国人来说，在国外机场往往会提心吊胆怕迷失方向，特别当一些指示牌是当地语言的时候。报道分析说，这些令人匪夷所思的翻译往往是由当地文化和语言差异造成的。据《法制晚报》

小心地滑 Be careful of landslide (小心山体滑坡)
果汁供应 flesh juice (肉汁)
当心碰头 Mind Crotch (当心裤裆)
不要将烟灰弹入此处 please don’t bomb into the ash here(不要将这儿炸成灰烬)
婴儿换尿布台 baby diaper exchange (交换婴儿尿布)
体弱者专用 for weak only (柔弱专用)
紧急开门拉杆 emergency door cock (紧急门公鸡)

广州读者李先生曾在广州新机场无意发现，几个指向行李寄存处的指示牌英文拼写均出了错，还有几个指示牌直接采取“中式英文”的译法。
英文拼写有误的指示牌都是指向行李寄存处的牌子，“行李寄存”(baggage storage)全部错为“baggage strage”，漏了一个英文字母“o”。“新机场是广州的窗口，如果启用后还出现这样的错误就有损广州的国际形象了。”李先生说。
指向“超大行李托运”方向的指示牌，则直接采用了“super bigbaggage deliver”这一“中式英文”。记者就此咨询了广州业余大学英语老师张先生，他表示：“虽然这一中式英文老外也能看得懂，但规范译法最好还是‘over weight baggage delivery’。”
