豆瓣阅读启动”星云奖翻译”项目 向社会开放招募翻译

近日，豆瓣阅读宣布已经独家引进最新一届的“星云奖”获奖作品，并向社会开放招募翻译。无论是资深科幻迷，还是翻译爱好者，都可以选择自己感兴趣的待译作品进行试译。

据介绍，试译表现最佳的作品将直接在豆瓣阅读上出版电子书，译者将获得稿酬和20%的电子书销售分成，这一报酬超过同业标准。译本的中英双语版将在豆瓣阅读发布。

最新“星云奖”获奖作品独家首发

豆瓣阅读方面表示，待译的本届获奖作品都已获得独家首发权。

在2013年5月召开的第48届“星云奖”大会上，揭晓了2012年星云奖获奖名单。其中南希·克雷斯（Nancy Kress）凭借After the Fall， Before the Fall， During the Fall夺得最佳中长篇小说奖；艾利亚特·德·波达（Aliette de Bodard）的Immersion获得最佳短篇小说奖。华裔科幻作家刘宇昆的三篇作品分别入围最佳中长篇、最佳中篇和最佳短篇小说奖。

在颁奖后不久，豆瓣阅读就获得了最佳中长篇小说获奖者南希·克雷斯（Nancy Kress）、最佳短篇小说获奖者艾利亚特·德·波达（Aliette de Bodard）和有三篇作品入围的华裔作家刘宇昆的正式授权。现在，包括本届星云奖获奖作品和入围作品在内的多篇科幻小说已开放试译。

星云奖（Nebula Award）由“美国科幻与幻想作家协会”（Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America，简称星云奖SFWA）设立，是最具权威的科幻与幻想小说奖项之一。

入选作品直接售卖译者报酬超同业标准

“我们向所有人开放试译，无论你是资深科幻迷，还是翻译爱好者，都欢迎选择感兴趣的作品进行试译。”豆瓣阅读相关负责人表示。

与一般的翻译项目不同，豆瓣阅读作为一个数字出版平台，可以为译者提供优质的原版内容，并推动译本的数字出版。这除了可使译作更快与读者见面，还可以使译者有更佳的收益。与传统的翻译出版相比，除稿酬之外，译者还能够获得译本20%的电子书销售分成。

业内认识介绍说：“一般的译者翻译一本书，只能得到稿酬，而我们还有20%的电子书收入分成，还是比较可观的。”

将持续引进优质的正版作品供试译

星云奖翻译项目是“豆瓣阅读同文馆”翻译计划的一部分。“同文馆”，与清代的译员学堂和翻译出版机构同名。这是一个面向所有译者的长期翻译项目，旨在通过深挖、细读、精译将优质的外文内容以电子书的形式与大家分享。

与大家熟悉的“豆瓣阅读翻译比赛”有所不同，“同文馆”拥有一个不断充实的“待译作品库”，将同时有多部作品等待试译、完成审核并翻译发布。

豆瓣阅读相关负责人介绍说，我们会通过两种渠道来获取内容。首先是译者推荐，即译者可以将自己愿意翻译的书或作品信息告知我们，由我们来确定版权归属，看看是否有可能获得授权。如果取得授权，就由该译者翻译全书并发布。另一个途径是豆瓣阅读编辑自选，确定引进的书或者作品。取得授权的作品将增加至“待译作品”列表，供开放试译。

“同文馆”另有英文项目名“The Hermes Project”。Hermes即希腊神话十二主神中的赫尔缪斯，他不仅是宙斯与诸神间的信使，还是神界与人界的传译。Hermes也与希腊语中的“翻译”一词“hermeneus”有关，意味着认识、表达、阐释。
