作为前任Windows维护部门的员工，我得澄清一下。微软的开发人员碰不到翻译的部分。而Windows开发部门的翻译工作都是开发完成后统一交给国际化部门完成的。他们会负责翻译读取开发过程中生成的资源文件定义的显示字符串并翻译成各国语言。而Windows开发过程中程序员直接统一只有英文。这本身也合理，因为Windows的开发人员来自全球各地，不可能让他们直接负责自己模块的翻译问题。

顺便说一句，其实“结果进程”还是挺幽默的，呵呵。

这么说吧，哪怕是一个懂中文的开发在自己亲手写的程序里面发现了中文翻译的问题，都还得上报翻译团队让翻译人员来改，都不能自己“顺手就改了”，所以出现这种问题，开发人员真的一点错都没有。

这一板子可打不到开发的屁股上。
简单说，开发人员要做的是解决字符在软件界面的呈现问题，比如中文无法显示，是他们的问题。他们的工作就是让这个软件可以做成某个语言的版本而且运行正常，即保证软件有所谓的“可国际化”能力。然后以这个能力为基础，本地化团队会对软件进行翻译。这时语言本身问题，错别字、语法错误、译文牛头不对马嘴、语言混杂（可能由翻译过程引入）……自然地就应该由本地化团队负责，尤其是翻译团队。
具体到这一条翻译错误，最多算一个 typo，也就是说连 improper translation 这个错误级别都算不上。对中文用户来说，它虽然够搞笑，却并不严重，至少不会误导用户进行操作。

不知道windows的翻译是怎么弄得，如果和网上的那种征集大伙翻译（比如twitter的翻译），我觉得出错的几率很高。因为没有上下文和语境，硬生生地给你一个句子让你翻译。
