翻译界受扰乱 “影子译者”需要内外兼治

著名英语翻译家马爱农最近可谓红极一时，这位曾经翻译过《哈利·波特》系列图书的大家，最近惊讶地发现，自己在不知情的情况下，竟然已经在短时间内翻译出数十本著作，而且更为神奇的是，她不但在翻译作品的数量上惊人，而且开始变得“神通广大”，同时精通德语、俄语等数种语言。而且她还不知不觉中改名为“马爱侬”。哭笑不得的马爱农随即展开维权。其实，这个所谓的“马爱侬”在业内被俗称为“影子译者”，也就是虚构出来的人物，不少出版机构为了能够沾上大翻译家马爱农的光杜撰出子虚乌有的人物，混淆视听，以求图书能够畅销。

这件事在圈内人看来早已见怪不怪，但令笔者担心的是，如果这种情况不加以控制，将会给中国翻译界带来严重的打击。笔者曾经在多次采访中了解到，中国的翻译界目前面临着很尴尬的情况，由于收入不高、工作压力大，真正专职从事翻译工作的人本来就少之又少，能够称之为大师的更是屈指可数。这就导致很多国外图书作品被翻译过来，或者中国图书被翻译后推出去时，遭遇读者看不懂，或者体验感极差的情况，间接损害了中国的图书版权交易。

这种情况对于那些仍然在坚持认真翻译的人来说，更是致命的打击，何必如此苦哈哈呢，要么不干了，要么去挣快钱。久而久之，中国将再无翻译大师，当年林语堂、成仿吾、鲁迅等翻译大家辈出的年代怕是一去不复返。

因此，所谓的影子译者是翻译界的隐形毒瘤，必须要根治，且需要内外兼治。从外部因素来说，相关部门必须制定相关法规，对于这种粗制滥造的图书要多方联合查处，涉及严重侵犯知识产权和扰乱社会秩序的个人和企业，要下重手处罚，为行业营造一个良好的氛围；从内部因素而言，一方面，翻译者要有从业品德，干一行爱一行，不要把翻译作为简单的解决生计的手段，而要看成是文化传递的桥梁。另一方面，行业协会、出版业也要在尊重市场规律的基础上，为翻译者提供良好的发展环境，至少要明白，读者真正看重的依然是翻译作品的质量，只有质量过硬的作品，才能有好的销量和价格。所以，需各方努力，提高翻译界整体的价格标准，只有如此，翻译者能够有稳定的待遇，才能译制出更优秀的作品，才能让出版社、读者各得其所，让所谓影子译者彻底消失。
