热播美剧“下架”可用上文中的remove four high-profile American TV series from their websites，也可以很简单地用the websites stop showing four high-profile American TV series表示。目前下架的美剧包括《生活大爆炸》（The Big Bang Theory）、《傲骨贤妻》(The Good Wife)、《海军罪案调查处》(Naval Criminal Investigative Service, NCIS)以及《律师本色》（The Practice）。

早在上个月，广电总局就发布通知称，今后网站购买的美剧、英剧必须“先审后播”（vet content before making it available to stream），通过审核的节目须报所在地省级广电影视行政部门备案。
