盘点那些让人啼笑皆非的中式翻译

新版《汉英大词典》曾经把“躲猫猫”翻译为“hide-and-seek”，让不少网友都“震惊”了一把。不过比起新鲜出炉的网友原创“中国式英语 ”，“hide-and-seek”就显得太不内涵了。在网上流传的这一整套“中国式英语”中，躲猫猫被称为“suihide”，动车则被称为 “don’train”，这些单词多是两个词汇的巧妙组合，同时还是相关中文或者英文的谐音，还非常符合网上的热点，“潮”得很。如此有内涵的“中国式英语”，《牛津大辞典》看了也要汗颜啊。下面盘点那些让人啼笑皆非的中式翻译：

1. In case of emergency… 遇见紧急情况时……
hand grenade 通常用作“手榴弹”的意思。
正确说法：Fire extinguisher。
2. You know, one of those time sex things…这种一次“性”的东西，你懂得……
正确说法：Disposable items。
3. Freshly caught, I hope!希望这是新鲜的！
carp 是“鲤鱼”、“盲槽鱼”的意思，字母颠倒后的 crap 就成了“垃圾、大便”
正确说法：Carp from mainland China。
4. Thanks for offering。谢谢你的好意。
正确说法：Please do not touch. We’ll help you try it on。
5. Lonely Planet said it was a must-see。《寂寞星球》上说这是非看不可的景点之一。
racist，种族主义者，语义偏贬义。
正确说法：Ethnic minority park
6. Hey, you might as well be graceful about it。嘿，摔倒的时候也可以很优雅。
