只有一个意思的单词都好办。有两个（或以上）意思的单词就难了，没有上下文谁都不知道该怎么译。例如“角”，是三角的角还是头上长角的角？

这是一个无解的问题，一些词本来就在汉语没有对应物，翻译时加括号注释差不多就搞定了，并无难度。 个人觉得英文中最难翻译的还是带多个词缀的单词。 英文单词的词性变化灵活性比汉字强得多，一个简单的单词可以连续叠加前后缀，就算一个词字典中没有是释义，你也可以通过词性变化规律来理解，但要用翻译出来时可能就得用很长一句话才能完整表达出来。

那些奇形怪状的冷僻词不算，在常用的词汇里面我碰到过的最难翻译的是serendipity，根本想不出信达雅的解释。
