“集体诉讼”用英文怎么说？

曾代表韩亚航空空难家属索赔的美国芝加哥瑞贝克律师事务所25日向美国广播公司表示，委托该律所的MH370乘客家属已经有十几位，主要来自马来西亚和印尼，也有中国乘客家属和该事务所接洽。

A committee representing the families of the Chinese passengers on the missing Malaysia Airlines jetliner is in touch with the Ribbeck Law firm in Chicago about filing a group lawsuit against the airline.

马航失联航班中国乘客家属委员会正就对该航空公司提起集体诉讼一事与芝加哥瑞贝克律师事务所进行接洽。

集体诉讼（group lawsuit/class action）指多数成员彼此间具有共同利益，由其中一人或数人代表全体利益起诉的行为。马来西亚政府宣布MH370航班终结于南印度洋之后，不少乘客家 属开始着手通过法律手段索赔（seek legal recourse）。瑞贝克律师事务所表示已向伊利诺伊州库克郡巡回法庭提交了对马航失联客机MH370的制造商波音公司和承运公司马来西亚航空公司的调 查申请（filed a petition for discovery）。

根据《蒙特利尔公约》（The Montreal Convention），失事飞机的出发地、目的地、经停地都可以适用该公约，因此马来西亚、中国、澳大利亚都可以作为赔偿诉讼的管辖地。此外作为飞机制造商的美国波音公司也可能成为被告，家属也可以选择美国作为起诉地。
