翻译家草婴迎来九十岁生日

3月24日，翻译家草婴先生迎来九十岁生日，俄罗斯联邦驻上海总领事安德烈·斯莫罗金日前发出贺信感谢草婴“对俄中两国人民的友谊作出的伟大贡献”。由于身体原因，草婴在华东医院度过生日，他从三年前开始因病住院。上海翻译家协会领导也来到医院为草婴祝寿。此前，草婴先生夫人盛天民老师专程到巴金故居，将新近出版的彩色插图本《托尔斯泰小说全集》12卷赠送给巴金先生故居。

草婴从1941年开始翻译俄罗斯文学，20世纪50年代翻译尼古拉耶娃中篇小说《拖拉机站站长和总农艺师》，肖洛霍夫中篇小说《一个人的遭遇》《顿河故事》等。1960年代后期翻译莱蒙托夫小说《当代英雄》、托尔斯泰《战争与和平》《安娜·卡列尼娜》等全部小说。1987年获苏联“高尔基文学奖”，2003年著有《我与俄罗斯文学》，2006年获俄罗斯“高尔基文学奖章”，并成为俄罗斯作家协会荣誉会员，2010年获中国翻译协会“翻译文化终身成就奖”，2011年获“上海文艺家终身荣誉奖”。
