3月26日，国家发改委降低国内成品油价格的同时调整了国内成品油价格形成机制。3月27日起，不论国际油价变动幅度多少，国内成品油每10天调价一次，同时取消4%的调价幅度限制。

China on Tuesday launched a more market-oriented oil product pricing system to better reflect costs and adapt to fluctuations in global oil prices。

本周二，中国推出了一个更加以市场为导向的成品油定价机制，以便能更好地反映产品成本并适应全球油价波动。

新的成品油定价机制(oil product pricing system)将调价周期(adjustment period)从现在的22天改为10天，同时取消了4%的调价幅度(即国际市场油价波动4%才能调价)限制。另外，新机制对中国油价的挂靠油种(the composition of the basket of crudes to which oil prices are linked)也做了调整。

目前我国是世界上第二大energy consumer(能源消费国)，为确保energy security(能源安全)，我国已采取了诸多措施。以石油为例，我国正加快建立strategic oil reserve(战略石油储备)，缓解oil dependency(原油对外依存度)。
