科幻大片《环太平洋》字幕翻译出笑话 巨型机甲都差点给跪了

据中国电影报发布数据，暑期影市在上周终于迎来第一波高峰，周总票房惊喜突破5亿！其中，“机器人打怪兽”题材的好莱坞科幻电影大片《环太平洋》以2 .8亿的首周票房笑傲群雄，成为带动影市冲击这波高峰的重要推手。加之《速度与激情6》热度持续不下，两个大片齐力推动内地市场暑期档火爆升温。同时，《环太平洋》的首周开局成绩还超越了《小时代》，成为今年6月份开始的暑期档的首周最高票房。观众们对《环太平洋》兴趣高涨，虽然故事情节、特效细节遭到诟病，但整体视觉收获不少好评，大批观众在网上进行热烈的讨论。同时，也有一些热心的观众对影片的字幕翻译提出不少质疑，“天马流星拳”、“贼鸥”、“麻子”、“追兔子”等成为众人热议的焦点。昨日下午，南都记者联络上该片的字幕翻译贾秀琰，就网友们热议的这些话题，她作出自己的解释。

Q：“贼鸥”为何不译为“猎人”、“猎鸥”？

A：“猎人”不适合作为一项计划名称出现

Jaeger在片中指代机甲战士这一计划，影片开篇就解释称该词的意思是H unter(源自德语Jger)。于是，有观众认为Jaeger译为“猎人”或“猎鸥”。对此，贾秀琰说，“猎鸥”与“贼鸥”之分纯属见仁见智，至于“猎人”，她认为不太合适，因为这个名词要作为一项计划的名称使用。

Q：为何把女主角名字译成“麻子”？

A：避免出现多个不同称呼

菊地凛子扮演的“M akoM ori”在片中被叫成“麻子”，也让不少观众感到不解。对此，贾秀琰解释称，当时就此问题她与译制导演张云明也进行过一番讨论：这个人名可译为森麻子、森真子等，究竟用哪个名字更合适？译制导演的决定是“麻子”，原因是如果译为森麻子，可能会出现“森小姐”、“森麻子小姐”、“麻子小姐”等不同的称呼，基于统一可让观众一遍就认清人物名的原则而决定译为“麻子”。

Q：“天马流星拳”从何而来？

A：勾起大家回忆，也契合动作气势

机甲战士危险流浪者有一招“Elbow R ocket”，字幕译为“天马流星拳”，最让观众们感到意外！这个名词暗示了机甲战士的肘部安有推进加速器，有网友认为香港版的“手肘火箭”更合适，而贾秀琰的翻译似乎是胡乱“接地气”。对此，她解释说，“要说‘接地气’的话，我翻译成‘咏春拳’才算吧。我在翻译前有做过不少准备，包括参考一些日本漫画。而且我知道导演吉尔莫·德尔·托罗是个日本动漫迷，片中借鉴了许多日本动漫中关于怪兽、机器人的设定。那我想这个招式采用‘天马流星拳’会勾起大家的回忆，而且跟出招时的气势比较吻合”。但在《圣斗士星矢》里天马流星拳有短时间内多次出拳的特点，“Elbow Rocket”显然没有。

Q：为什么来个“追兔子”？

A：大银幕字幕不允许加括号

片中男主角查理·汉纳姆与女主角菊地凛子进行第一次合作时，查理提醒称“R em em ber donot chaseR abit.”片中字幕翻译为“记住，不要追兔子。”对此网友主动为其校正称应译为“记住不要分心，不要胡思乱想”，因为这里的R abit是英文“Random A ccess BrainIm pulseT riggers”的缩写。对此，贾秀琰表示自己也有苦衷，“因为大银幕的字幕翻译不允许加括号，不像网上的字幕组翻译可以用括号来标注解释。所以我们是采用在接下来的一句话里加以说明。我在中文配音台本中写的是‘麻子，记住千万不要催赶兔子。兔子就是随机读取脑神经元触发物的缩写，就让它们随意倾斜，别阻碍它们。’”

Q：“通感”似乎不太妥当？

A：我在台本上写的是“同感”啊

机甲驾驶员需要进行神经元对接然后一起同步操控机器，“神经元对接”为何译成“通感”？贾秀琰说，其实当时她与译制导演一起形成的共识是译为“同感”，“第一要考虑到翻译要短，只能两个字。第二，‘同感’比‘通感’更合适，因为这个词要表示的意思是需要两人共同的感觉，做共同的反应。”至于公映的字幕版本为何是“通感”而不是“同感”？她表示自己也不太清楚，“我做的工作，确切来讲是叫中文配音台本的翻译。字幕是由字幕员参考台本，用软件输入。我的台本上写的都是‘同感’。”

其他“误译”

《环太平洋》的中文字幕被许多热爱日漫和科幻片的网友指出数十处误译。比如澳大利亚机甲驾驶员出场时，把原本是父子的两人误译成“兄弟”，把怪物袭击“人口密集地区”误译成“污染严重地区”……也许准备一份“校正”版本的翻译对观看这部电影有所帮助（小5）
