90多岁油画家丁天缺去世 临终曾在狱中翻译《毕加索》

中国美院设计艺术学院教授连放告诉记者，昨天上午和中午，先生还能吃东西，和保姆刘阿姨说话，下午5点，刘阿姨发现老人突然说话困难，立即将他送往医院，但最终抢救无效。

丁天缺1916年出生于江苏宜兴，1935年就读于国立杭州艺术专科学校(中国美院前身)，1947年回母校担任中国现代艺术教育家吴大羽的助教。

他的同学，有吴冠中、朱德群、赵无极等名家；著名书法家刘江是他的学生；还有一个闪耀世界的名字——丁俊晖，是他的侄孙。

四个月前去采访丁老时，他告诉记者，同时代的艺术家大都已不在人世了，“活着就是胜利”。

90多岁的他，依然坚持画画。他的阳台上，支着一个木制画架，油画布上，只完成了白描的轮廓，嶙峋的山石，笔触依然粗重。其实，这是先生两三年前画的。因为身体原因，一直没法完成，他却始终不肯把画摘下。

熟悉丁先生的朋友说，这是一粒煮不熟摔不烂的钢豌豆，是一粒会让人头痛的钢豌豆，“所以，他的一生就显得崎岖。”

丁天缺的人生，一半时间用来坐牢，一半时间用来画画。1951年、1958年，他两度入狱，长达三十多年。甚至写过《自弃诗》，想一死了之。但他最后却在狱中翻译了文学作品《毕加索》，第一次把这位天才的现代派艺术家介绍到中国。

84岁时，丁天缺在潘公凯、许江等后辈的支持下，曾在母校中国美院举办了人生第一次个展。

丁天缺原名丁善庠，他这样解释自己的新名字：天上少颗星，地上添个丁。
