海归翻译热衷影视剧字幕发翻译 “没人看”的好片更值得翻译

在网络时代，“字幕组”早已不是一个新鲜词。伊甸园、风软、圣城、悠悠鸟等是网友熟悉的字幕组。它们中有不少成员是留学生或者海归。这群人有一个共同特点，渴望与他人分享，同时认为自己“有义务”把优秀的影视剧作品推荐给国内的广大影迷。

制作字幕 需要的不只是新鲜感

凭着在国外的生活经历，海归翻译字幕时有天然的优势。“因为比较熟悉他们的口语表达习惯，以及电影中出现的民俗、谚语，所以翻译起来会显得驾轻就熟。”曾留学英国的张晓风说，“电影对话中有时会出现一些俚语，如果翻译不当，是会闹笑话的。”

做字幕通常需要以下流程：获取片源，翻译，制作时间轴，检查校对，最后将文本和视频进行压制合并。虽然海归有语言上的优势，但要一个人单独完成整个流程，也至少需要近两周的时间，这其中需要耗费大量的时间和精力。“翻译的话，主要看字幕条数，一部电影通常有七八百条字幕，一般需要三四个晚上。”张晓风说，“当然，如果遇到那些比较难翻译的影片，像《英国病人》，一晚上恐怕还翻译不到100条。遇到生僻词汇，除了求助于谷歌，有时候还需要参照作家版译文。”

在很多字幕组成员看来，字幕组只是一个兴趣小组，而非什么“正规组织”。字幕组的准入制度并不严格，只要外语水平合格者都能加入，关键是加入后能否坚持。“刚开始的时候，不少人是怀着好奇心加入字幕组，但最后坚持下来的，则是出于对字幕组真正的热爱。”28岁的李海德说，从美国留学回来的他加入风软字幕组已有两年，“加入字幕组仅凭新鲜感是不够的，与在国外做义工一样，它是一个持续性的过程，每个制作流程缺一不可。哪怕是一段字幕，它也能体现出制作者的责任意识。”

“没人看”的好片才值得翻译

除了少数有商业性质的字幕组，绝大部分都是非营利性的，它们的活动经费主要靠内部成员筹集和网友捐赠（比如“道兰字幕组”），所以每位成员得到的“酬劳”可以忽略不计。唯一的福利，就是获得新片后可以先睹为快，以及在片源库中享受视觉的饕餮盛宴。除此以外，与网友分享字幕时的喜悦，也是他们的动力之源。“当发现自己做的字幕被广大影迷争相下载时，可以兴奋一整天。”赵晓晓说，她刚加入梦想字幕组两个月，在她看来，这种精神上的愉悦比物质的奖励更加宝贵。

一位名为“神经的神”网友是飞屋字幕组的成员，之前曾留学于法国，她认为当下的电影多如牛毛，其中有很多是不为人知的好片，正因为“没人看”，才值得去翻译。“如果给这些电影配上字幕，就可以帮助扩大它们的传播面。如果好片没人欣赏，那怪可惜的。”因此，她热衷于翻译冷门佳作，目前已给6部法国电影配上字幕。“哪怕是相对小众化的电影，有了字幕，就能让想看的人看懂，这是一件很有意义的事。”她补充道。

在互联网时代，影视剧作品逐渐成为文化交流的新途径。但由于中西方文化差异大，字幕在某种程度上成为不同文化之间的黏合剂。“电影源于生活，又高于生活，其中包含有很多人生哲理。配上字幕后，就可以让更多的人观看，和更多的影迷朋友交换观影心得。这时你会发现，每部影片都是一个认识生活的窗口，在这里你会看到不同的人生轨迹。”当被问到做字幕的意义时，李海德如是说。
