US president warns Ugandaover anti-gay bill

President Barack Obama has warned Uganda’s President Yoweri Musuveni that enactingan anti-gay law will complicate relations with the US.
总统巴拉克·奥巴马就乌干达总统约韦里·穆塞韦尼 (YoweriMuseveni)颁布反同性恋发出警告，称这将使得两国关系复杂化。

Under the proposed legislation, thoseconvicted of homosexual acts could face life imprisonment.
The law would also make it a crime not toreport gay people.

Promotion of homosexuality – even talkingabout it without condemning it – would also be punishable by a prison sentence.
