《唐顿庄园》“咬文嚼字”难住翻译

风靡欧美的电视剧《唐顿庄园》正在央视“海外剧场”热播。该剧曾获得国际电视剧“艾美奖”、美国“金球奖”、中国“玉兰奖”等30多项奖。考究的长镜头、点到为止的英式幽默、如下午茶般从容优雅的表演，都成为这部英国电视剧的独特魅力。 《唐顿庄园》故事情节与线索并不复杂，像这样一部节奏缓慢的家庭剧似乎并没有太多市场价值。但该剧就是凭借自身的艺术魅力接连获奖并赢得各国观众的口碑。 5月3日，本报记者通过采访央视“海外剧场”节目组，采访到《唐顿庄园》引进版责任编辑吉纲，了解到一些台前幕后鲜为人知的故事。

　　原版引进未经删减

据吉纲介绍，为了尽量保留《唐顿庄园》原汁原味的“英伦范”，从责任编辑到翻译、配音，都下了很大功夫。不过，该剧被央视引进后并未被删减。 《唐顿庄园》这部英国古装历史剧，没有暴力场面，没有情色镜头，画面唯美精致，好似一幅幅油画。

吉纲介绍说，虽是原版引进未经删减，但原来的集序被打破了。因为原版的《唐顿庄园》每集1小时左右，而按照中国电视剧时长规定，每集是40多分钟，为了不删减内容，就采取了顺延的办法，比如原本第一季有7集，重新分集后增加到8集。

吉纲说：“在最后一集，我们特别制作了幕后花絮，其中包括剧中主要演员的访谈，以及剧组在英国古堡中拍摄时的现场画面，所有素材都是我们向片方特别引进的，我们进行了编译和配音。在最后一集中，观众会了解到拍摄这部电视剧的幕后故事。 ”

　　翻译配音难度大

相比美剧的随性，该剧每一句台词都是精炼规范的，更接近书面用语。这种“咬文嚼字”给翻译者增加了难度。

即使是有着10多年翻译经验的专家，翻译《唐顿庄园》也不觉得轻松。仅仅是最基本的人物称呼，就令翻译很纠结。英国贵族阶层等级森严，最直接的体现就是在彼此的称呼上。 《唐顿庄园》不同于以往改编自名著的英国电视剧，该剧是原创作品，这就意味着翻译没有任何可供参考的“译本”，剧中有很多古典用语和特殊语法，增加了翻译难度。

该剧配音演员阵容强大，为该剧中老祖母配音的是中央戏剧学院教授张筠英，为男主角马修配音的是有着十几年配音经验的金锋，为女主角玛丽配音的是北京人艺资深演员唐烨。

　　演员服装多为“二手货”

剧中精美雅致的服饰是又一亮点。不过，这部电视剧的演员服装大部分都是 “二手货”。作为一部年代古装剧，《唐顿庄园》只有约1/3的服装是由该剧服装设计师制作的，剩下的几乎都是在英国其他古装剧或古装电影中回收过来的，其中的绝大多数甚至都没做什么修改。

《唐顿庄园》中女演员们的服装很多都是演员海伦娜·伯翰·卡特、凯瑟琳·泽塔·琼斯等演员在以往拍摄的电影或电视剧中穿过的。唯一没有穿“二手服装”的是在剧中饰演家族长者的英国老牌演员玛吉·史密斯，她曾获得艾美奖电视电影类最佳女配角奖。
