烈士公园标识牌中式英文：湖边行走=lake walk

“禁止下湖游泳”(应为 No Swimming)标成“Prohibited under the lake swimming”？近日长沙网友杰森以“长沙双语提示牌翻译被指中式英语”为话题在“路边社”播报了一条他的发现：“长沙烈士公园的双语提示牌，估计是哪个工作人员用词霸翻译的！”

雷人翻译遭吐槽

“下湖游泳”翻成“under the lake swimming”，“湖边行走”翻成“lake walk”，网友杰森求教各位专家，这科学吗？“弄双语标牌是为了方便外国人出行游玩，但这样的翻译，实在让人摸不着头脑，让人看笑话。”昨日正在烈士公园闲逛的市民说。

“东便门”(正确翻译为East Side Entrance)翻译成“East Access Door”，“您现在所在的位置”(正确翻译为“Your Location”)翻译成“The Place You Are Standing”？昨日从烈士公园东门到北门这段路程中，记者看到竖立着大大小小双语标识牌二十多个，有专门提示方向的，也有温馨提醒等。记者一一录下，并请新航道教育长沙学校英语专业老师和专业外教校正，发现雷人翻译还真不少。放置在烈士公园不同路段的同一内容标语翻译还不一样。例如，同样“湖边行走，注意安全”(正确翻译应该为“Take care while walking along the lake”)就有“Lake walk Pay attention to safety”和“Walking along the lake please pay attention to your safety”两种翻译。

书写大小写不规范

英文翻译的书写大小写也很不统一。在烈士公园的双语标牌里，大小写没有统一。有的全是大写，如在北门导向图上，“您目前所在的位置”(正确翻译应为Your Location)，翻译为“PLACE WHERE YOU ARE”就全是大写。同一类的标识有的是大写，有的是小写。如“爱护花草，珍惜生命” (正确翻译应为Take Care of the Grass, Cherish Our Lives)翻译为“Take good care of plants and Treasure the lives”，大小写混用。还有一些就是开头大写，其他的全是小写如“严禁烟火”正确翻译应为(No Open Flames)就翻译为“ Strictly forbid the flame and fire”。　　烈士公园的错误翻译只是随手一例，记者发现，长沙的大街小巷、楼庭阁宇、餐牌菜单，这样的错误还不少。你身边的英文标识翻译错了吗？不妨随手拍，@长沙晚报，我们将请专家校正，并联系标牌主管部门进行修改。大家来挑刺，共同营造国际化的长沙。
