八卦田成了“Gossip Tian”这样的翻译有问题吗？西湖景区请大家来纠错

英文翻译，尤其是导览指示牌上的英文翻译，一不小心就容易闹笑话。比如说，杭州一个知名的景点八卦田，就有一家餐馆将其翻译成了“Gossip Tian”，被网友笑称为“神翻译”。今天起，杭州西湖风景名胜区管委会将邀请市民一起，对景区内各类导览标志牌的外文翻译进行大清查，找出其中你认为翻译有明显错误或存有疑义的导览标识牌。

这是西湖景区首次启动标识牌的外文勘误工作。相比之下，标识牌的中文勘误工作要频繁很多

。差不多每年10月份，管委会都会组织专家进行一次标识牌中文勘误。目前，管委会已经邀请浙江大学城市学院相关语言专业的老师成立外文勘误专家组。
5月31日前，你可以将你发现的西湖边你认为外文翻译有明显错误或存有疑义的导览标识牌内容，附上照片及标识牌所处位置，发送到电子邮箱：westlakeheritage@sina.com。

导览标识牌具体范围，包括杭州西湖风景名胜区内的各公园（景点）导游牌、指路牌、景点介绍牌、提示牌等；博物馆、纪念馆等外文标识（包括内部陈设）；公安（交警）、市政、公交及企事业单位等设置的公共信息标牌、路牌。

管委会将会在汇总后，统一提交外文勘误专家组。8月中下旬，管委会还将组织杭州一些著名的英文专家来审定，排查。9月开始，错误标识牌就要陆续开始整改，大约到年底全部完成。
