江大六学子为雅安地震编译文章

昨天，江苏大学外国语学院办公室收到了中国日报网站副总编辑韩榕华的感谢信，韩榕华对江大外国语学院英语师范专业6名大学生义务编译雅安地震专栏表示感谢。

江苏大学英语师范专业大三学生夏娟、陆绮、翁碧萱、刘菲、顾静云和刘园一直是中国日报网站旗下国际资讯编译网爱新闻iNew网站的活跃翻译者，平时的工作是收集、整理外国主流英文媒体的报道，将英文报道编译成中文。

“我是从4月份开始参与iNew的翻译工作的，一个月来已经翻译了40多篇。”4月20日雅安地震发生当天，顾静云对这一重大事件反应迅速，当天下午就翻译了两条国外媒体的简讯，21日又翻译了一篇关于地震救援的长篇报道。“只有熟悉背景资料才能翻译得准确到位，翻译简讯需要花1个多小时，长篇文章就需要3个小时，甚至更多时间。”记者了解到，在短短两天时间内，顾静云等6名大学生一共编译了近20篇国外媒体有关雅安地震的文章。

在感谢信中，韩榕华对这6名大学生翻译的文章给予了高度评价，“这些文章及时客观地报道了中国地震，也向各国读者展现了中国政府和民众在灾区抗震救灾行动中的凝聚力。学生及时、高效、熟练的编译工作，展现了江苏大学外国语学院高质量的外语教学水平，也体现了大学生极高的综合素质。”
