102岁还坚持写作，刚翻译完成一本书

今天是杨绛102岁的生日，先生一如既往安静地待在北京南沙沟小区的一户老房子里。熟悉她的人都知道，安心治学的她一直非常低调，素来不喜祝寿，今年也不例外。前天，跟钱钟书、杨绛一家多有交往的钱钟书堂弟钱钟汉的女儿钱静汝，从无锡打电话给远在北京的“大阿姆”（堂伯母）杨绛向其祝寿，并再三嘱托杨绛的保姆吴阿姨一定要转告杨绛，家乡人要为她遥祝生日，家乡的孩子们要学习她和钱钟书“好读书”的精神。昨天，钱钟书堂侄女钱静汝向记者讲述了她所了解的杨绛。

102岁了还坚持写作，听力大不如前

每次杨绛过生日，总有很多朋友和媒体登门道贺或想要电话采访，但几乎全被杨绛婉拒。“一是因为她低调惯了，二是因为她年纪大了，听力越来越差。”上周日，钱静汝打电话给杨绛，照旧是保姆吴阿姨接听。吴阿姨照顾杨绛已有十多年，跟钱静汝通过无数个电话，俩人算是老朋友了。电话里，吴阿姨告诉钱静汝，先生的听力比原来更差，但身体不错，吃得简单而清淡，早上基本上是豆浆和自制酸奶，一直喜欢的太湖白鱼和太湖虾也只偶尔吃吃。此外，先生现在仍坚持整理钱钟书资料、并坚持写作，最近刚刚翻译完成一本书。
从吴阿姨那里，钱静汝得知在北京的叔叔钱钟鲁跟婶婶已经去看望了杨绛并提前给她过了一个简单的生日。钱静汝告诉记者，杨绛最不喜欢花哨的形式，她更喜欢家人在一起吃块蛋糕，开开心心地聊聊。钱静汝保存着杨绛百岁生日时的视频，家人围在一起吃蛋糕时杨绛幸福的表情给她留下了深刻印象。钱静汝表示，如果杨绛得知家乡无锡正在为她举办一场形式简单但意义深远的遥祝生日活动，“大阿姆一定会很开心”。

“每次去他们家，三人总在各自看书”

杨绛1911年7月17日出生，12岁开始迷恋读书。她的父亲杨荫杭是无锡走出去的知名学者。有次父亲问她：“三天不让你看书，你怎么样？”杨绛回答：“不好过。”父亲再问：“一星期不让你看呢？”她答：“一星期都白活了。”在钱钟书眼里，杨绛是“最贤的妻，最才的女”。“她一直教育我们这些小辈要读书，书中有许许多多让人开窍明理的道理。”在钱静汝的记忆里，这位大阿姆对于小辈的提问往往不做直接回应，而是告知要从书中寻找答案。
解放前，钱钟书一家逃难至上海，租住在复兴中路上一栋小楼里。当时，钱静汝一家住在三楼，钱钟书一家住在二楼的亭子间。钱静汝跟堂姐钱瑗是打小的玩伴。钱静汝说，钱氏家训里要求钱氏后人“爱国、爱民、爱学习”，钱氏家族成员从小就爱自觉看书，钱钟书一家尤其如此。每次钱静汝经过他们房间都能看到钱钟书一家三口，一人一桌，各自看书，偶尔三人会交换下意见，但大部分时间是各自读书或写作，十分和谐。后来，钱钟书一家在北京落脚，住在中关村，钱静汝每次去都看到“跟在上海时一样，他们仨一人一桌各自看书”。

遭遇手稿拍卖一事，杨绛不再低调

“我和谁都不争、和谁争我都不屑；我爱大自然，其次就是艺术；我双手烤着生命之火取暖；火萎了，我也准备走了。”杨绛借翻译英国诗人兰德的著名诗句，道出了自己的心声。虽然曾经的“我们仨”，只剩下她独自一人，但当有人侵犯到“我们仨”时，一向低调的杨绛第一时间作出了回应。前阵子，钱钟书一家书信手稿公开拍卖一事闹得沸沸扬扬。杨绛发表了公开反对拍卖的声明并委托代理人向北京市第二中级法院提出了要求“公开拍卖等请求”的诉前禁令。随后，拍卖方在其官网上发消息称，决定停止2013年6月21日“也是集――钱钟书书信手稿”的公开拍卖。
钱静汝说，她最初得知钱钟书一家手稿书信将被拍卖一事后，一直不敢打电话给杨绛，怕她着急上火。后来杨绛是从其他渠道得知相关信息并诉诸法院。钱静汝向记者透露，跟钱瑗一起长大的她也保存有跟钱钟书一家尤其是跟堂姐钱瑗的往来书信，没事也会拿出来看看，以解怀念之情。“这些书信手稿都是无价之宝，给我多少钱我都不会卖！”
