西安街头蹩脚英语翻译惹人笑 呼吁市民进行外语纠错

“小心衣物夹入”，翻译成“小心衣服三明治”；“请勿通过”翻译成“此处无路”……在古城一些公共场所，错误的中英文标识牌不在少数。为此，西安市发起全民外语纠错活动。

昨日，在西安大雁塔北广场，70余名大学生志愿者开始搜寻那些让老外费解的“中式英语”。来西安工作学习的德国小伙徐金和除了母语外，还精通英语、汉语。他说，在西安的这四五个月里，发现了很多令人啼笑皆非的标识语。他指着大雁塔北广场一处喷泉旁的警示语说：“你看这块牌子，中文写着‘请勿通过’，但前面是有路的，而它下面的英文却标注着‘此处无路’。”在曲江一座大楼，徐金和发现了更离谱的。这是贴在电梯扶手一端的警示标识，上面6个中英文对照图标，只有一个翻译比较正确，其他有的不贴切，有的明显是错的。

西安外事侨务办相关负责人表示，对翻译有误或“中式英语”太明显的各种标识，市民可拍照并附上认为正确的翻译，发送至电子邮箱：xianilv@ihxian.com；也可以打电话反映：029-88462831。
