福州三环有三种翻译 网友呼吁规范统一交通标识

“路名的翻译没有统一标准吗？一个三环看见3种翻译了。”近日，福州网友“天天Plus”微博反映，福州三环路多个交通指示牌上对“三环”的翻译并不统一。对此，许多网友和专家认为，路牌标识是城市的形象和窗口，应该规范、统一路牌标识。

30日中午，记者从福州二环路经五四北琴亭高架桥上三环路不久后看到，一块绿色交通指示牌横跨在道路上方，其中对“三环（金山）”的英语标识是“3Rd Ring Expwy（Jinshan)”。然而，当记者沿三环路来到淮安出口附近时又看到，交通指示牌上对“三环快速”的英语标识为“Sanhuan Thrwy”。而在二环路龙腰高架桥下记者还发现，该处对于“三环路”的英语标识则为“Sanhuan Rd”。

此外记者还发现，在三环路上指向淮安方向的一块标识牌上，对“三环辅路”的英文标识为“Sanhuan Side Rd”，而在北三环路上一块指向登云路的标识牌上，同为“三环辅路”的英文标识则为“3RdRing VoeuxRd”。

对此现象，许多网友认为，路牌标识是城市的形象和窗口，应该规范、统一路牌标识，这样不仅可以提升城市形象，也方便外地游客和本地市民出行。网友“学生街刺客”在微博中调侃道：“第一种翻译给一环内居民看的；第二种翻译给二环内居民看的；第三种就是给三环内居民的啦。”而网友“虎纠新闻姐”则表示，路标翻译能否有个标准？

翻译虽准确还需要更规范

就该道路英译问题记者咨询了福建省翻译协会，该协会工作人员表示，以上指示牌对于“三环路”的翻译都没有明显的错误，但是这些单词都是采用缩写的方式表达，可能与标识牌上的书写空间不大有关系。福州大学外国语学院李瑾程老师也表示，Sanhuan Thrwy”与“3Rd Ring Expwy”都可以看出是表示三环道路的意思，但是前者用“Sanhuan”表述地名会相对比较准确，后者表述方式则显得比较生硬。

对此，福州市民政局区划地名处则认为，根据国家有关规定，中国地名应以汉语拼音作为国际标准，即在道路名称翻译时必须使用统一规范的汉语拼音，“国家通用语言文字

以《汉语拼音方案》作为拼写和注音工具。《汉语拼音方案》是中国人名、地名和中文文献罗马字母拼写法的统一规范，并用于汉字不便或不能使用的领域”。
