做个翻译不容易

在广交会上当翻译并不简单。客商希望找到既懂语言又懂外贸的“商务陪同”。有的时候，翻译可能还要充当模特。广交会的“入场费”对于想利用广交会赚点外快的翻译来说也是一笔不小的开支。

第113届广交会第三期开幕前一天，从琶洲地铁站口到广交会展馆5号门短短50米的道路上，聚集了一二百位“美女翻译”。她们在广州近来不常见的阳光下，举着各色的自制广告牌，形成了一道靓丽的景观。她们大多是广州各高校外语专业的学生，趁着五一小长假，来分广交会一杯羹。但事情并不那么简单。

　　翻译，不止是翻译

“我其实特别想在”翻译”后面再加一句话：”不止是翻译”。”广东外语外贸大学南国商学院的小琳指着自己的广告牌说。

她告诉记者：“现在参展商很少需要单纯的翻译，他们更需要懂一点儿外贸，同时沟通能力又不差的临时工。”

记者了解到，美女翻译们八九点钟就来到了展馆门口，当天上午广州罕见地出了太阳，可连续阴雨后的蒸腾感让人感觉更为不适。不过同学们告诉记者，如果能小赚一笔，这点儿苦算不了什么。

“今年大三了，不太好意思再向家里要钱，有师姐告诉我广交会期间可以来兼职，就过来试试。”来自广东外语艺术职业学院的黄晓贤告诉记者。

现实并没有同学们想的那么简单。

来自纽约的出口商舍罗米·亚瑟是做牛仔裤生意的，记者见到亚瑟的时候，他正在街头“面试”他的兼职员工在广东外语艺术职业学院上学的浙江姑娘黄丽君。亚瑟拿出手机向黄丽君展示了一些其产品的图片，希望身材高挑的黄丽君做他们的模特，同时也是他们的翻译，价格是300元/天。

小琳告诉记者，在广交会上做翻译，有时不仅仅是在广交会期间有机会。“有经验的同学告诉我，还有可能被国内的参展企业看中，有机会去公司实习。”

除了性别，姜越航的北方口音也在应招的临时翻译中显得很特别。“我24岁了，已经大学毕业几年了，这次特意从北京过来，看看有没有什么机会。”

姜越航是吉林人，在北京为一家巴拉圭客户做中国市场的采购工作，他的名片上写着“西班牙语口译、笔译、商务陪同”。他自信地告诉记者，他的优势在于外贸工作经验，对面向拉美市场的出口、通关、物流比较熟悉。

　　“入场费”偏高

不管叫他们翻译，还是临时业务员，对于这些在门外应招的人来说，想进入广交会的大门并不容易。“1500元一个证件。”一位应聘的男同学告诉记者。据了解，想把兼职员工带入会场，参展商需要每人每天交300元左右的“门票”。美女翻译小琳很羡慕记者胸前的证件：“”门票”太贵了，我要是像你一样有证件，工作就会好找很多。”

记者替参展商算了一笔账：找一位像小琳这样的小语种翻译，平均每人每天约700元，加上每人每天300元的入场费，一期一个临时员工的成本在5000元上下。英语翻译的成本会稍低一些，在3000元左右。而参展商从本地多带来一个员工，交通、食宿的费用也许不止这个数尤其是对国外采购商而言。如果进场费能有所下降，采购商也许能省得更多。

但就目前的情况而言，小琳他们的日子并不好过。

当天中午，广州的天气骤然变了脸，一场暴雨不期而至。黄丽君无奈进入地铁站内避雨，焦急地等待着亚瑟的电话，以确定最终是否在这期广交会上雇她当牛仔裤模特。小琳12点后就回学校，因为中午12点以前是最好的时机，过了12点就不如第二天早上再来碰碰运气。自信的姜越航也回了住处，打算雨停后四处转转。
