翻译文学经典化是文本内部文学和外部文化”合力”的结果

8月9日，记者从南京师范大学获悉，由南京师范大学外国语学院特聘教授宋学智主持的国家社会科学基金项目《法国文学汉译经典研究》自2012年6月立项以来，已基本完成资料的收集、归类性的梳理与研究思路的整合。
“翻译文学经典化是文本内部文学审美因素和外部文化政治因素”合力”的结果，但内部的”恒久之至道”具有长效性，外部的”现世利益”张目或遮蔽具有历史性。”宋学智告诉记者，该课题不仅从外部探讨文本旅行过程中，异域各种权力话语的“共谋”导致的经典化，也会探索翻译文学经典化的内部因素，即探讨原文到译文转换过程中译者的再创作实践，揭示译者再现原作的表现力度。他认为，文学探索和文化探索对于翻译文学经典研究均不可偏废。探讨文学的文化层面，是为了拓展文学的空间；走出文学的封闭圈，是要从文化的高度更好地认识文学本身。文学作品之所以感染读者，主要在于文学性而不是文化性，文学之审美、艺术之自律是文学翻译和翻译文学永远值得探讨的问题。
据悉，该项目以多位具有代表性的法语译家和译品表现出的共性与特色为依据，结合文本的翻译与传播，对翻译文学经典化的主要环节进行系列研究；并从实证出发，以文本为基础，以经典形成过程中的主要和关键因素为依据，对翻译文学的经典性话语机制，做学理层面的探索性研究。
