《纽约时报》记者已像李娜道歉：承认错误翻译导致争议

北京时间8月29日，前不久《纽约时报》以《李娜，中国的叛逆者》为题，报道了美网之前对李娜进行的一次专访。专访中李娜分享了许多个人心声，其中有关“第一次退役是因为被逼迫服用类固醇药物导致身体虚弱”的言论更是引发了轩然大波。经过核实，报道中的信息来自李娜自传《独自上场》内容的错误翻译，自传中所提到的并不是类固醇药物，而是“有激素的药”，近日相关记者也向中国金花进行了道歉。

在最新曝光的一封内部邮件中，这位名叫Brook Larmer的记者在写给李娜的经纪人、IMG公司高级副总裁Max Eisenbud的邮件中说：“再次感谢你帮助我安排与李娜的采访，无论从球员还是个人角度来说，她都是惊人的。我希望这次报道不会对她造成什么影响。”

Brook Larmer表示，造成这一错误的原因是他对援引自李娜《独自上场》自传中的内容出现了翻译错误，将“hormone medicine(荷尔蒙药物)”翻译成了产生争议的“steroid pills(类固醇类药物)”。

Brook Larmer在邮件中说：“我也想提醒你和李娜，要去修正在《纽约时报》和网络中出现的新闻里的一个错误。在李娜的书中，她写到自己的第一次退役是因为健康原因，她被迫服用‘hormone medicine(荷尔蒙药物)’，导致她过敏。很不幸，我们在北京的翻译人员把这个翻译成了不正确的‘steroid pills(类固醇类药物)’。我的编辑已经通知我们改正，但是我第一个想先向你和李娜表达我的歉意。”(格林)
