华人主妇返职热 翻译与教师成走俏职业

　　华人主妇兴起返职热

据英国国家统计局9月份最新数据显示，在英华人失业率从2012年10月到2013年6月有所增长，其中华裔女性的失业率普遍低于男性失业率。2013年4至6月，华裔女性的失业率为9.1%，比华裔男性失业率低2.5%。

较之其他少数族裔，华裔失业率仅高于印度裔，是几大少数族裔中第二低的，相较而言，孟加拉国及巴基斯坦裔的失业率最高。

多数华人家庭主妇因为需要照顾年幼的孩子，所以没有时间找工作，也没有时间去参加工作。况且，不少华人主妇英语基础薄弱，所以在找工作的路上面临着较多的障碍。

但是面临当下的就业形势，为数众多的华人家庭主妇在照顾孩子到一定年龄后，主动寻找全职或兼职工作以减轻家庭经济压力，这逐渐成为一股席卷英国的华人主妇返职热潮。

　　翻译与教师成走俏职业

根据多年组织在英华人参与培训与教育积累的经验，华人之家将在英华人主妇的就业方向总结为两方面。一方面是投身中英文翻译，为中国公司与海外投资搭建桥梁，进行沟通与交流；另一方面，许多经过培训的华人主妇选择了在中小学教授中文，从事汉语教育事业。目前，越来越多的英国学校纷纷开设中文课，这些华人主妇在经过培训之后，在中文教师竞聘的时候更有优势。

30多年前就来到英国的陈女士现年51岁，前20多年她一直忙于照顾家人，没有参加工作。后来，她参加了由华人之家与WEA合作的就业培训课程，使自己的英语能力获得了较大的提升，并且顺利地通过了翻译第三等级的考试，之后在伦敦谋到一份翻译的工作，为许多大型公司和法庭事务提供翻译服务。

陈女士说：“我知道要想比别人优秀需要付出更多的努力，所以我参加培训的时候很认真，成绩好找工作也相对容易一些。现在做翻译工作能够帮助更多的华人，我很开心。”

　　参与培训提升自身素质

据了解，华人之家已与英国专业求职培训机构WEA达成合作项目，由华人之家组织失业华人到该机构参加专业技能培训，通过考试的华人学员可以得到经过认证的职业等级证书，以增加他们求职的机会。

专门关注华人心理健康的慈善机构——华心会也正在启动一项“就业支援计划”。据计划负责人介绍，此计划会为因失业而受轻度情绪困扰的华人提供一系列的综合就业支援服务，服务将持续至2014年12月底。

他说：“在目前的经济形势下，正常的普通人找工作都不是一件容易的事，更何况这些社会的弱势群体，他们所遇到的困难也可想而知。”

来自社会各界的帮助正助力华人求职。对于越来越多走出家门的华人主妇而言，虽然她们已经谋到工作，但是没有报税，因此她们在政府的备案中仍显示为长期失业状态。于是出现一边工作、一边拿着政府发放的福利的现象。

出现这种情况，或是因为这些华人主妇过于精明想赚便宜，或是刚来英国不了解相关政策，但无论如何，返职之时一定要积极守法。
