市妇儿中心专为外国患者配翻译

南方日报讯 （记者/曹斯 通讯员/易灵敏 周密）笔者前日从广州市妇女儿童医疗中心获悉，为让在穗外国友人顺利就医，该院走起了国际化路线，专门配备了多语言翻译服务。

据悉，去年下半年，广州市妇儿中心通过了国际医疗卫生机构认证联合委员会的JCI认证。这意味着，国际医疗保险的投保人到该院看病，发生的医疗费能使用“国际医保”。据该院护理部主任林艳介绍，正因如此，不少公司将该院设为外籍员工就医的定点医院，加上医院又坐落于珠江新城，常有外国友人前来就医。为此，医院专设了大堂经理，为有需要的患者提供全英文导诊服务。不仅如此，医院还备了中英双语的就诊基本信息填写表，也列出了精通英语的医生名单，方便患者填写和就诊。

广州是国际化大都市，有不少病人来自非英语国家，怎么看病？林艳说，医院专门购买了可提供实时翻译的电话系统，“需要时，我们就拨通电话选择语言，包括英、法、韩、日、德、俄、意大利、西班牙等语种都已涵盖，而且由医院支付每分钟10元的翻译费，患者并不需要为此‘买单’。”

林艳表示，医院的这种做法不是优待外国患者，而是希望他们能获得平等就医权，不因语言不通而耽误治疗。
