翻译木偶剧《项羽与刘邦》在日电视台热播

国际在线专稿：据日本《朝日新闻》8月21日报道，现代中国研究学者、京都大学名誉教授竹内实于7月底逝世，享年90岁。竹内晚年倾注心血的工作之一，就是翻译了中国木偶剧《项羽与刘邦》的剧本。目前这部长达100集的大作正在BS日本频道热播。
竹内实1923年出生于中国山东省，19岁前一直生活在中国，后来返回了日本。竹内1960年访华期间曾与毛泽东会谈，被誉为日本研究“毛泽东学”的权威。
翻译剧本是受国画家沈光文之托，二人交情深厚。2007年末接到委托1周后，竹内就将用钢笔手写的3集翻译原稿寄给了沈光文。剩余部分的稿件，也是数集一次邮寄到沈光文手中。2009年3月，100集剧本全部翻译完毕，译文达2千多页稿纸。
竹内的妹妹角谷美智子（88岁）也曾与哥哥一起在中国生活过。她说:“哥哥曾经跟中国家教学中文。他在东京审判的时候还担任过口译工作。”她认为竹内的语言能力在这次翻译剧本的过程中也派上了用场。
《项羽与刘邦》描述了两人争权夺霸的历史故事，在中国几乎无人不晓。竹内为何在耄耋之年挑战这部作品的翻译呢？妹妹角谷说:“对于生在中国长在中国的人来说，中国就是故乡，从根上还是中国人 。我想哥哥也一样。”
