黄毅翔：翻译更要忠于原意

美国当红奇幻作家布兰登·桑德森的史诗奇幻小说《王者之路》，本月将由重庆大学出版社等机构联合推出。

日前《王者之路》的中文版译者黄毅翔在上海图书馆举行了一场有关奇幻文学翻译的主题讲座。讲座中在谈到对翻译作品的欣赏评价原则时，他结合自身的阅读与翻译经验，认为文学翻译不能仅仅“忠于原文”，更要“忠于原意”。

具体到奇幻文学翻译上，黄毅翔认为，优秀的作品和译本应当提供足够的奇幻氛围，能让读者沉浸其中；同时还要有足够强的画面感，给读者身临其境的感受。黄毅翔从2008年开始从事全职翻译，其间担任商务印书馆译文编辑近1年，至今已出版译作8本，涉猎历史、奇幻、文学、艺术等众多领域，累计翻译不下500万字。
