“特长生”用英文怎么说？

教育部日前发布《关于进一步做好小学升入初中免试就近入学工作的实施意见》，规范“小升初”，除免试就近升学的原则外，教育部要求每所初中都须划片招生，同时严控特长生招生，2016年“小升初”，学校特长生招生比例禁超5%。

The Education Ministry said Sunday that the proportion of enrolled pupils with special talent will be gradually reduced in admission to junior middle schools.

教育部周日称，“小升初”招收特长生的比例会逐步下降。

特长生就是pupils with special talent，指的是在某些方面（比如音乐、体育、绘画等）有优于普通人的技能的学生。因为特长生可以在中考和高考中获得加分，所以很多家长从孩子小时候 就开始努力培养孩子的“特长”，让孩子上各种interest-oriented class（兴趣班）。

教育部一名官员称，当前这种有利于特长生的admission rule（录取规则）让孩子们负担很大，有悖于all-round development for students（让学生全面发展）的教育原则。

当前国内学生小升初无需entrance tests（入学考试），学生在居住片区学校入学。但现实情况是，一些特长生能够跨片区进入较好的中学。教育部已经禁止根据scores of Olympic-style math competitions（奥数成绩）来招生的行为。
