2014年世界经济论坛年会于22日至25日在瑞士滑雪胜地达沃斯举行。来自近100个国家和地区约2500余名政、商、学界精英将围绕“重塑世界：对社会、政治和商业的影响”主题展开250多场研讨会。

The World Economic Forum (WEF) started its annual meeting Wednesday at the Swiss ski resort of Davos under the theme “The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business”.

世界经济论坛年会周三在瑞士滑雪胜地达沃斯举行，今年的主题是“重塑世界：对社会、政治和商业的影响”。

World Economic Forum (WEF，世界经济论坛) 是以研究和探讨世界经济领域存在的问题（studying and discussing economic issues around the world）、促进国际经济合作与交流（improving international economic cooperation and exchange）为宗旨的非官方国际性机构（international non-governmental organization），总部设在瑞士日内瓦。其前身是1971年由现任论坛主席、日内瓦大学教授克劳斯•施瓦布创建的“欧洲管理论坛”（European Management Forum）。1987年，“欧洲管理论坛”更名为“世界经济论坛”，因每年都在瑞士达沃斯举行，也被称为达沃斯论坛（Davos Forum）。

本届年会围绕“拥抱破坏性创新”(embracing disruptive innovation)、“取得包容性增长”(achieving inclusive growth)、“满足社会新期待”(meeting society’s new expectations)以及“实现可持续发展”（achieving sustainable growth）等四大领域的议题进行讨论。
