阿富汗翻译拯救美军受威胁 苦等两年终获美签证

据美国媒体9月9日报道，曾经救过美国陆军情报官员蔡勒（Zeller）一命的阿富汗翻译贾尼斯已经获得美国颁发的签证，最快可于下个月前往美国。

据蔡勒介绍，2008年美军与阿富汗叛乱分子交战时，翻译贾尼斯救了自己。自从35岁的贾尼斯开始收到死亡威胁后，心怀感激的蔡勒两年来一直为贾尼斯拿到一张美国签证而努力。今年9月9日，获知美国国务院最终处理了签证申请文件后，两人通了电话。

蔡勒在接受福克斯新闻采访时称：“不久前，贾尼斯通过脸谱网聊天把这条消息告诉了我，然后我就给他打电话……事情真是令人动情，我从没想到可以听到他如此开心的声音。他开始告诉我，他对能够获得签证感到如此兴奋，他预计，国际移民组织（IOM）在30-40天内会给他安排好航班和住宿。”

蔡勒接着说：“我们开始谈论我们的孩子（我女儿和他最小的孩子同岁）将一起成长，成为朋友。我依旧不能相信在未来数周内，我能亲自和他谈话。”

2009年开始实行的一种特殊的移民制度于9月底到期，不再延续。该制度旨在为那些在阿富汗和伊拉克帮助过美军的外国翻译获得美国签证。

近期，蔡勒开始在一个名叫改变（change.org）的网站上发起活动，获得数千签名和数百条加强语气的帖子，来自佛州普兰泰申市的签名人哈利写道：“贾尼斯冒着生命危险救了美国人的命，如今我们也有责任救他的命，给他和其他冒着生命危险救我们命的人发放签证。现在就发。”

老兵们认为，由于很多人倡导的力度没有蔡勒那么大，数以千计的签证申请无人过问。蔡勒说，帮助那些冒着生命危险拯救美国士兵的人们事关一个人的良心。

蔡勒在改变（change.org）网站上写道：“贾尼斯在阿富汗救了我的命，当我听到他遇到危险时，我必须伸出援手。令我感到宽慰的是驻阿富汗的美国大使馆和美国国务院了解我们的心声，全国众多民众和我一起支持贾尼斯……我们救了贾尼斯的世界，基于此，我将永远感谢你们，我和贾尼斯向你们表示无限的感激。”
