农历六月十二日《佛藏经》译出纪念日

2013年7月19日，农历六月十二日，是《佛藏经》译出纪念日。

《佛藏经》，三卷，又称《奉入龙华经》《选择诸法经》，属于大乘律部经典，鸠摩罗什法师于姚秦弘始七年（即晋安帝义熙元年）六月十二日译出此经。全经分为十品：诸法实相品、念佛品、念法品、念僧品、净戒品、净法品、往古品、净见品、了戒品、嘱累品，论述诸法之无生、无灭、无相、无为及诸法实相，谓破戒比丘有十忧恼箭，而诃责其种种罪相，告诫“不净说法”之大罪报。本经没有特别论说菩萨律仪，故与其他戒本稍有不同，不过经中强调若不理解诸法实相、无生、无灭等义，则即便受持二百五十戒，依然形同破戒，并主张远离“戏论分别”始得称持戒；并对小乘教团所谓“我是持戒，余人不尔”“我是多闻，彼非多闻”之我慢心，予以彻底的弹诃与讥斥，故得列为大乘律部典籍。

鸠摩罗什（350～413），中国佛教史上四大翻译家之一，具名鸠摩罗什婆，意译童寿。罗什父原为天竺人，出家至龟兹国，婚于国王之妹，生什。什年七岁，随母出家，遍游西域，总贯群籍，善于大乘。时在龟兹，秦主苻坚建元十九年使吕光伐龟兹，获什而还。至凉州，闻苻坚败，吕光自立。其后，后秦姚兴伐凉，罗什始入长安。姚兴待以国师之礼，使入西明阁及逍遥园，译出众经，前后译出三百八十余卷，弘始十一年示寂于长安，时为东晋熙宁五年。罗什大师临终有言：“吾所传无谬，则梵身之后，舌不焦烂。”在逍遥园依外国之法火化之，薪灭形碎，唯舌不灰。
