翻译家林少华：庸俗是当今社会最大的敌人

近日，曾翻译《挪威的森林》的著名文学翻译家林少华做客“中国农业银行·南都公众论坛”，演讲中林少华说：“庸俗是这个世界，或者说是当今社会最大的敌人。”，其演讲的《超越孤独，进入新境界》受到市民和粉丝们的热捧。而对于作为改革先锋城市的深圳，孤独是肯定的，不应为之纠结，而应为之骄傲。

作为国内翻译村上春树作品的先行者，林少华数度援引村上的作品。他说，村上春树的文学作品有生命深处刻骨铭心的体悟，有对个体灵魂自由细致入微的关怀，有时刻叩问本初自我的高度敏感，还有避免精神空间全面沦陷的技术指南，而这最终都可归结为四个字：守护孤独。“守护孤独”在当下这个“消解神圣，消解浪漫、理想的追求，最终要将人的精神也消解殆尽的时代”(钱理群语)尤其重要和必要，但不能在此止步，而应该鼓足勇气，超越孤独，进入社会关怀和社会批判的“大丈夫”精神境界。并且只有这样，“小资”的孤独才能升华为“大丈夫”的孤独。

林少华指出，我们社会目前正处于艰难的转型期，当前，庸俗化浪潮仍然向前推进，甚至大学校园也难安静地放下几张书桌。体制固然有问题，但不仅仅是体制问题。“我想是整个民族精神阳痿的结果。”他认为国民性比体制更重要。林少华痛心疾首，整个社会弥漫庸俗之气，从官场到学府，从媒体到社区，没有神圣感，没有使命感，没有敬畏，没有崇高，没有形而上的精神追求，有的只是恶搞、庸俗。他称，“庸俗是这个世界，或者说是当今社会最大的敌人。”昨日论坛上有人感叹深圳也是一个孤独的城市，对此，林少华表示认同。他称，深圳走在改革开放的前头，走在意识形态的前沿，先行者或者先驱命中注定都是孤独者，这种孤独，不必为之纠结，应该为之骄傲。(记者 周昌和)
