为什么中国的会议口译、新闻发布会口译都偏重英式发音？

有特殊规定还是行业习惯？有坚持美式发音并且比较成功的译员吗？一直讲美音的口译练习者有没有必要改学英音？

3年前高中老师还说英式英语比较“正式”，现在已经越来越淡化了吧。

个人认为
一方面是由于英国的阶级观念、“正统”、“血统”思想根深蒂固，而上等社会的人说的口音，自然以正统自居。然而不论英音美音澳音，都是一种口音。其实英音也分伦敦腔、苏格兰腔、威尔士腔、爱尔兰腔等等。 根据我个人的观察，几乎所有具有悠久历史、起源民族单一的国家，都会有等级意识，比如天朝，印度，英国。 而这些国家，都有一些强势口音。
另一方面，所有行业都需要一个标准，来节约资源。如果都统一用一种口音，那么人们就不用浪费脑力来分辨口音带来的差错了。

首先相比美音，英音会显得比较formal一些~
其次，英国开设同传课程的名校比较多，比如巴斯，纽卡，华威等~翻译专业继续就这个方向去国外学习，大概也是选择这几所学校的~自然在发音上会偏向英音~
至于是否有美音比较好的译员，可以在微博搜索“同传”和“interpreter”构成微博名的译员，看看他们比较倾向于哪种发音~
