想将著名作家的作品译成外语并出版吗

新华社北京9月2日专电（记者 贾钊 田颖）想尝试把莫言、贾平凹、王安忆和刘震云等作家的名篇译成外语并出版吗？机会来了—由国务院新闻办公室、中国作家协会和中国外文局等联合举办的“2013中国当代优秀作品国际翻译大赛”2日在京启动。

大赛组委会推荐了30篇中国当代优秀短篇小说作为待译原文，参赛者可自行选择其中一篇翻译成英语、法语、俄语、西班牙语和阿拉伯语中任何一种语言，并在2014年2月28日之前提交译文。组委会提示，可以以个人或团队方式参赛，每个语种的一等奖均为奖金5000美元，获奖作品还将结集出版。

组委会推荐的30篇原文包括莫言的《月光斩》、贾平凹的《猎人》和王安忆的《发廊情话》等获奖名篇。大赛组委会成员、《人民文学》杂志社主编施战军提出，待译的30篇作品都是当代中国文学的精粹，符合“中国水平、国际品相”的要求。而所谓“国际品相”，是指作品所涵盖的内容要具有一定的国际化指向，而不仅仅是一个比较单纯的中国故事。通过对这些作品的翻译，将增强国际上对中国文学更具专业的认识，使外国读者对中国文学的艺术水准有更精准的把握。
