中国文学作品翻译人才匮乏成走出去掣肘

通过参加法兰克福书展中国主宾国、伦敦书展中国主宾国等活动，外国读者更多地了解了中国文学、中国作家。在图博会这个平台上，中国读者认识了更多的外国作家，中国当代文学成果、作家整体形象也得到了很好地展示和推广。本届图博会上，集中展现山东作家群体的中国作家馆成为关注的焦点，但同时，中国文学走出去的翻译问题引起了作家们的思考。

作家馆主宾省模式令人关注

如何更大限度地利用好图博会这个开阔平台，显得至关重要。中国作家馆的主宾省模式，就非常值得参考。

自第17届图博会开始设立起，中国作家馆在展现当代文学成果、作家整体形象中发挥了重要作用。自去年起，中国作家馆又有重点地将目光投向能够代表中国文学创作特色的某一地域或某一群体，让更多的人了解不同地域的作家群体及特有的文化特征。

“此次北京国际图书博览会，中国作家馆‘山东主宾省’成为一大亮点。最近几天，北京各大报纸的文化版头条都是关于山东作家的。”8月30日，在出席山东作家赵德发作品研讨会时，中国作协副主席、书记处书记何建明感慨道。在出席“齐鲁文学再创辉煌”论坛时，中国作协书记处书记李敬泽这样评价：“中国作家馆以主宾省的方式展示山东文学成就，应该可以作为本年度最重要的文学事件之一去判断与研究。”

翻译人才匮乏成走出去掣肘

出席“中德文学对话”时，莫言就表示俄罗斯书业出版中国作品的热情不高，翻译数量屈指可数，存在翻译人才匮乏等多方面原因。

著名作家张炜也认为，在文学走出去中翻译问题成为重要掣肘。好的译者不多，尤其那种能把作品的意境、语言的特质，甚至地域色彩都能呈现出来的译者，更是少之又少。“翻译不是简单的技术工作，懂中文、能够流利地用外语表达并不够，它是一种语言艺术向另一种语言艺术的转换。”因为翻译质量无法过关，20年来，张炜已经推掉的外文版本大概有十五六部。“最近有位海外华人翻译了《九月寓言》，但我请专家看后吓了一跳，里面的翻译有太多误解，所以就没有合作。”

在张炜看来，外国读者对中国文学、中国作家的关注度在提高，但仍是一个缓慢的过程。“文学走出去不要急，他是另一种语言的再创造，不要急于出多少语种。一个好的作家应该有这种自信，为本民族、为这块土地去写作。”

在图博会采访时，记者也了解到，外国读者非常希望看到描绘当代中国的文学作品。除对莫言、余华、苏童等上世纪五六十年代出生的作家关注外，有些海外版权代理人开始关注盛可以、徐则臣等“70后”作家的作品。希望在未来图博会中，能够更多地看到优秀新生代作家的身影，他们的作品能更多地进入海外读者视野。
