《追风筝的人》作者新作感人 英译汉者边译边流泪

《追风筝的人》作者卡勒德·胡赛尼新作《群山回唱》简体中文版由上海世纪出版公司出版，日前在上海书展首发，更具亮点的是，《群山回唱》电子书同步上线。

“胡赛尼迄今最扣人心弦的小说”

作为胡赛尼的第三部小说，《群山回唱》依旧以他的故乡阿富汗为背景，讲述一对兄妹因贫穷和战争铸成的60年悲欢离合。这是一部充满了令人心痛的悲情，却洋溢着爱的光辉的传奇。故事以《爱的考验》开头：“你们想听故事，我就给你们讲个故事。但是你们谁都别让我多讲，明天，我们还有很长的路要走。”韩寒非常喜欢胡赛尼的小说，这段故事就被韩寒主编的刊物选用首发。

无论从地域还是情感上，这部小说都比《追风筝的人》和《灿烂千阳》更壮阔。英文版上市以来，《群山回唱》荣膺各大榜单销售冠军。国外媒体和读者更是呈压倒性好评，普遍认为《群山回唱》较胡赛尼之前的作品达到了更高的水平。《纽约时报》评论认为，“这是胡赛尼迄今最令人信服、最扣人心弦的小说。胡赛尼成功地将书中人物的生活融入了一部感人至深的合唱曲中，这既是他对人物内心生活深刻了解的证明，同时也是他作为一个老派小说家之实力的确证。在这样的短评里很难作出足以匹配这部作品的评价。我想讲述的东西有整整一打。”

译者边译边流泪

对于读者一直关切的《群山回唱》中文版翻译人选，出版方首度公开。译者康慨，也是这些年国内颇具影响的书评人。据出版社介绍，“康慨一直关注许多国外的一流作家，比如世纪出版公司出版的帕慕克作品。胡赛尼这样的活跃分子当然也在他的关注之列。他自觉有种使命感，在工作之余译介更多的优秀作品到中国来。”

据出版方介绍，“听到我们要引进《群山回唱》中文版的消息，他与我们同样激动，虽然时间紧张，但康慨欣然接受了这一艰巨的工作。他与我们的编辑组成了一个工作小组，小组的成员从拿到英文版校样开始一同初读文稿，译者开始动笔翻译，翻好一章，编辑审阅一章，一边翻一边讨论小说中遇到的各种问题，大到小说的书名来源，小到小说中的一个人物名和食物名的译法，一个数字，一个年代的写法。”翻译过半时，康慨来信“郑重重申：我喜欢这本小说！老实说，我读的时候也哭。”

电子书与纸质书同步发售

《群山回唱》日前在全国各大书店和网上书店同步发售，亚马逊Kindle版的《群山回唱》也同一天准时向预订读者推送上市。作为与世界出版节奏同步的全美第一畅销小说，《群山回唱》同步发行纸质版Kindle版，这在国内尚属首次。

8月初，北美地区《群山回唱》电子书上市，一跃居于亚马逊榜单首位，销量一度甚至超过了纸质书。纸质书的质感与电子书的便携，优势互补，在美国，读者们往往都是买一本纸质书在书房享受一段静静的感动时光，也会买一本电子书随身携带外出。

“胡萝卜”分享感动

《群山回唱》的出版也正是《追风筝的人》出版10周年之期。胡赛尼小说那句“为你，千千万万遍”感动千万读者。《群山回唱》出版之际，数百位中国“胡萝卜”在网上晒出自己的“勇敢追风筝”的故事，相互分享。有40多岁的中年读者，更有众多全国各地的青少年读者。
