宗教经典翻译理论与实践研讨会举行

“宗教典籍翻译思想理应成为中国翻译思想宝库的重要组成部分。”6月16日，在青岛举行的第二届宗教经典翻译理论与实践研讨会上，中国海洋大学翻译研究所所长任东升如此表示。与会的翻译界学者对宗教典籍翻译思想及其体系、宗教典籍翻译与中国翻译学的关系等问题展开探讨。

自明清时期西方传教士进入中国以来，西方宗教界和学术界往往以基督教为宗教标准，对中国宗教存在曲解和误读。河南大学外语学院教授郭尚兴认为，解决这一问题的途径之一是开展具有科学范式的宗教典籍翻译工作，以本原性和自主性作为中国宗教典籍的翻译原则。

谈到宗教典籍翻译的具体方法时，清华大学外语系教授罗选民表示，对宗教典籍的翻译应依文本而行，文字讲究通晓易懂，保持宗教文本的风格，用词不可过于绚丽，也不可选用带有强烈情感倾向的词语，否则可能导致观点的失真。

中国社会科学院世界宗教研究所所长卓新平表示，中国学术界在基督教研究上已经进入系统释经的时代，圣经释经学与现代解释学密切结合，在方法论上有明显提高。

此次研讨会由中国海洋大学主办，来自中国社会科学院、清华大学、北京大学、四川外国语大学等科研机构和高校的近百名学者与会。
