11个无法翻译的外语单词

“水面上月亮留下道路一般的倒影”这是瑞典语“MANGATA”的意思,要翻译成中文,你能找到对应的词语吗?近日,有网友总结出了“11个无法翻译的外语单词”,这些单词来自不同的语种,有的形容一种感觉或状态,有的描述的是一种美景,乍一看都无法用一两个汉语词来说清楚。不过高手在民间,网友们旁征博引,倒是给出了不少神翻译,其中学霸网友的“律诗版”翻译更是让众多围观者“给跪了”。
德语单词“WALDEINSAMKEIT”形容在森林里孤身一人的感觉,意大利语单词“CUALACINO”意思是凉凉的玻璃杯在桌上留下的痕迹,因纽特语“IKTSUARPOK”形容的是一种让人不停向外张望看有没有人来的期待感,日语“KOMOREBI”是从树叶的缝隙中漏下来的阳光……“11个无法翻译的外语单词”或是形容一种状态,或是描述一种美景,一出炉就引得网友们摩拳擦掌、跃跃欲试。
中文翻译讲究信、达、雅,不少网友都在雅字上做文章。好在中文博大精深,古文里“刨出”几个词、几句诗来,翻译就很传神。比如“一种让人不停向外张望看有没有人来的期待感”因纽特语,有网友就援引了《诗经》中的“乘彼垝垣,以望复关”,文化底蕴很是深厚,而形容树叶间漏下阳光翻译成“叶影映日”,听着也挺雅致。
在翻译中网友们也发现,说这11个单词“无解”,似乎也有些夸大。用不断发展的现代汉语加上网络语言来翻译,话虽然糙,却也相当准确。
印度尼西亚语“JAYUS”形容一个“讲得很烂很不好玩,以至于让人忍不住笑起来的笑话”—这不就是“冷笑话”吗;夏威夷语“PANAPOO”指“因为想要记起遗忘的东西而抓头的动作”—不就是“捉急”吗;乌尔都语“goya”说的是“听一个好故事入迷后暂时放下怀疑的表现”—“不明觉厉”很准确呀;俄语“POCHEMUCHKA”是问很多问题的人—不好意思,这是“事儿妈”。顺着这思路,网友们的翻译也越走越远,“乘彼垝垣”被网友延伸翻译成“QQ登录”,吐槽向的翻译也占了不少比例。
不过最让网友们叫绝的还是来自学霸网友版本,将11个单词翻译串联成一首律诗:“空山嘉木心幽幽,冷几寒樽痕印留。顾盼遥迢君何处,和光穿叶意绸缪。一生不辞频相问,筵尽闲情未肯休。言到嗤极竟成笑,弄发苦忆旧春秋。频因去国添惆怅,却恋传奇忘细究。千江月影筑长路,踏遍浮生不回头。”
“平起入韵、七言律诗。最佩服的是,平仄竟然都对!”高手在民间,学霸的神翻译一出,瞬间秒杀了其他版本,让一众围观者都给跪了。
