到澳游客增长快 澳大利亚酒店业中文翻译吃香

中新网10月10日电 据澳洲网报道，随着到澳大利亚度假的中国人数量增加，出生在中国的餐饮业工作者李蕊(Rui Li)从接待华客中找到了商机。

28岁的李蕊在雪梨的Novoted Darling Harbour酒店担任前台，但她经常兼任翻译的角色，用她的母语轻松地与客人沟通。

据澳洲统计局(ABS)周二公布的数据，中国是澳洲增长最快的旅游市场，在截至今年8月的一年中，短期访客的人数增幅超过了14%。这是来澳中国游客的人数首次突破70万大关。

“我家在山东省，自从我父母第一次带我出去旅行开始，我就深深爱上了旅行。”李蕊说，“不过在2009年，我拿着学生签证移居澳洲，在南澳大学(University of South Australia)修读酒店管理的硕士学位，现在，我可以帮助其他来自中国的游客顺利地完成他们在这儿的旅行。”

李蕊说，在她碰到的中国游客中，大约有一半在中国庞大的政府机关工作；另一些是生意人和女性；剩下的则是来澳洲探访亲友或留学生的。

“他们中的大多数人英语都不是很好，所以我为他们翻译，或告诉他们澳洲哪些东西好看好玩。”李蕊说，“我也会确保他们的房间里有绿茶和拖鞋，这是文化习惯。而且我们会设法把他们安排在六楼或八楼，因为这两个数字在中国都很吉利。”

李蕊目前持工作签证，她所在的雅高酒店集团(Accor Hotels group)正在设法占领大块中国市场，而李蕊也因此受到了高层的重视。“我真的很喜欢我的工作，看到我的同胞发现更多的澳洲之美真是太好了。”

在截至8月份的十二个月里，新加坡是来澳游客增幅第二大的国家，游客人数增长了近10%。

来澳游客人数下跌最多的是日本和韩国，日本的游客人数从一个相当大的基数上减少了7.2%；而韩国的游客人数减少了0.4%。8月约有53.4万名短期游客来澳旅行。
