“异地高考”英文怎么说

元旦前后，各省区市“异地高考”方案密集出炉。据公开报道，目前仅西藏、青海动态未明，天津称政策正在抓紧制定，海南则表示已基本完成方案论证工作，将于近日正式通过并向社会公布。

More Chinese provinces and municipalities have announced education reforms that would allow children of migrant workers to enter senior high schools and sit college entrance exams locally.

多省市公布教育改革方案，允许外来务工人员子女在当地就读高中并参加高考。

“异地高考”就是指children of migrant workers（外来务工人员子女）在他们父母工作的城市sit college entrance exams（参加高考），这个政策也称为college matriculation policy for migrant children，matriculation指“大学入学考试，录取入学”。

因为受household registration system（户籍登记制度）的限制，很多外来务工者的子女或者成为left-behind generation（留守一代），在老家生活；或者只能在父母工作的城市接受9年compulsory education（义务教育），到了senior high school（高中）阶段就必须回到户籍所在地就读。该政策的出台可以让这些孩子与城里还是享受equal opportunity for education（同等教育机会），有利于促进fair education（教育公平）。不过，在人口较少录取率较高的地区，异地高考政策也可能导致更多高考移民（National College Entrance Exam migrant）的出现。
