同声传译女华人用普通话协助过百人驾照考试作弊 获刑1年

原标题：英华人女同声传译涉嫌协助百余人考驾照作弊 获刑1年

中新网8月7日电 据英国《华商报》报道，在英国从事同声传译的45岁华人艾莉森·吴(音译)8月5日被判处一年监禁，原因是她经常在英国的驾照理论考试中用普通话帮助华人考生作弊，所涉考生超过100名。

用普通话提示考生答案

对于申请考驾照的人，英国有规定，凡是对英语不精通或是了解程度较低的人可以选择母语，政府会负责在理论部分笔试时为考生请同声传译。艾莉森·吴拥有英国驾照核发部门批准的给考生提供同声传译服务的资质，每次向他们收取110英镑。

在一次理论考试时，有法官听到吴对考生用普通话说“对”，怀疑她正在帮助该考生回答单项选择题的部分。于是，英国驾驶安全标准局开始怀疑，为何等待吴来做同声传译的时候华语驾照考生竟然已经多到排起了长队。2012年10月18日，艾莉森·吴在卡迪夫驾考理论中心被捕。

一个调查小组在艾莉森·吴曾经担任过同声传译的考生中随机抽取了27人的考场录像，经鉴定发现，这27人都在理论笔试中存有欺骗行为，也就是作弊。英国驾驶安全标准局还认为，有些考生甚至可能在考前根本没有学过高速公路规则，因为他们知道，只要请了艾莉森·吴，就一定能通过考试。

面对证据，艾莉森·吴最初承认了这27桩协助作弊案，之后，法庭又提出了40桩。英国驾驶安全标准局称，他们还在追踪调查另外94名曾由艾莉森·吴提供同声传译并通过考试的考生。这些考生的理论考试通过证明将被注销，并被要求重新再考一次。

驾考作弊是严重违法行为

英国驾驶安全标准局局长安迪·赖斯说：“设置驾照考试是为了保证所有上路的驾驶员都充分掌握驾驶知识和技术，保证道路行驶安全。任何在考试中作弊的人，实际上是把无辜的路人置于危险之中。这一判决表明，在驾考中作弊是一件严重的犯罪行为，将受到法律的制裁。”

对于驾考同声传译人员协助作弊这一现象，驾驶安全标准局的发言人史蒂夫·斯莫表示：“这是个很严重的问题。事实上，需要同声传译的考生并不多，但这已经是今年判决的第三起驾考作弊案了。”

英国交通部道路安全部长史蒂夫·哈蒙说：“英国道路是世界上最安全的，这归功于我们严格的驾驶考试。但是在驾考中提供同声传译，这不仅是为作弊创造了条件，也为未来的道路安全埋下隐患。试想一个如此不懂英语的人，一旦他靠同声传译通过了驾考，将来在路上，他还是看不懂重要的交通信息更新或者紧急情况。”

今年7月，55岁的华人传译人员彼得·许也因在驾考理论考试中协助作弊而被判刑一年。他在考试时用普通话“对”为暗号，帮助考生完成单项选择题。据悉，彼得·许大约为200人作弊，获利10万英镑，已全被没收。
