行内人总说，同声传译必须生来就会，经过练习能够进步，但是教是无法教的，有道理么？

我自己，是在连同声传译是什么都不知道的大一就可以做了。很多同行也都同意这个行当似乎要求你的大脑有一种特别的能力，但是到底是什么，我们也说不清楚。照你的答案，是我们先天网络交叉较少么？除了容易分心之外，还有什么弊端呢？

感谢@cindysss的邀请，在另一个问题的回答里我拿同传做例子解释人脑的并行处理功能。这里具体解释一下对于这些并行处理的工作人脑是如何完成的。最后分析这些能力是否是天生的。

1. 人脑对信息的并行处理的实现是由人脑的功能分区化决定的。脑的各个区域各有其功能，相互独立。人体的各个功能也有其独立的神经传导路径。

2. 人脑一些区域间存在联系。学过钢琴的人会有感触，刚开始学钢琴的时候，只弹左手或只弹右手都是容易练好的，但是两只手合在一起的时候一开始容易乱了节奏，左手跟了右手的节奏或右手跟了左手的节奏。人脑各区域间的联系主要是区块的交叉以及直接或间接的连接。这些联系使得一些功能在并行处理时效果受到一定影响。

3. 同传是个复杂的并行过程，涉及听觉，视觉，运动，语言，思考，记忆等过程。其本质和其它的专业工作行为一样，是调用人脑通过大量训练形成的条件反射。一个专业的同传很多时候听到一个词并不需要搜肠刮肚地寻找对应的翻译，因为这个翻译的条件反射已经建立，大多时候是直接翻译出来或在纸上记下一个符号。

4. 先天的问题。先今的主流神经科学相信，人刚出生的时候是没有语言记忆的，但是有语言的学习能力。人脑是有可塑性的，想像一块电路板，已经做好的板子它自己在硬件上是不会再变化了。然而人脑不是，每天都有旧的链接被移除，新的链接被建立，已存在的链接被加强或削弱。

人很难改变的由先天更多决定的有：负责同传的这些功能区块的神经元的数量，种类，神经元最大的链接数，每个链接的最大离子通道、最大受体数量、建立新链接的能力。也就是最初的硬件本身的内禀性质。

后天可以影响的：环境。人脑的可塑性是固有的能力，但是可塑性的实现是要靠环境的重复刺激的。比如大量的训练。通过环境通过重复的大量的训练通过正确的方法，可以提高语言能力。这里强调一下，方法是很重要的，人脑建立链接的能力是固定的，但是不同的方法可以以不同效果触发这个能力。作为一项条件反射的工作，通过后天训练，大多数人都是可以做到的。

总结： 同传是人脑并行的复杂的处理过程。同传的能力本身是后天习得的，但是由于个体先天的基因差异，人们学习的能力是不同的；由于后天的环境差异，人们学习的效果是不同的。大多数人通过适合的训练都可以做到。

我覺得正相反。

同傳是一種另外的能力，跟外文水平關係不大，更像是彈巴赫的鋼琴曲的能力。這種能力完全可以通過練習獲得。

另外，由於大家都覺得同傳很難，所以哪怕做得再差，也會被表揚。

同传这个东西，教比天赋更重要啊，后天练习也很重要。
相比之下，天赋才是不怎么重要的部分。

有道理。

语言本来就是一种天赋。
像我这种在广州呆过，学不会广州语，在上海呆着，学不会上海话的人来说，特别理解这种天赋。
或者会有人说，你就不是努力学啊。我觉得不是的。
很多事情真是有天赋的。
我不光学不会各种鸟语，我还不会打牌。我对数字很不敏感。跟朋友打牌，比如斗地主，我真的很努力去记，明地主是什么牌，但打一会，我就真记不得那张是什么牌了。
说这么多只是想说，我认为天赋这事儿，是存在的。

关于同声传译，我其实也比较了解。我相信那事儿，更需要天赋。
